| | | Jane Murphy | | | | Jane has been involved with Holiday Actors since their inaugural production in 1985. She was a cast member of seven productions. Jane played Lily Garland in On the Twentieth Century (1991) and worked backstage on three productions. She vocally directed Blitz! (1993) and Oliver! (2001); two of her favourite shows, as is Blondel (1989). Jane continues to sing, co-directing a local womens's choir 'The Red Tent Singers' and the a cappella group 'Cantamos'. Following on from a trip overseas researching singing in New Orleans, Memphis and New York, Jane caught up with Paul Mair in Germany. There they coincidently found themsleves wandering around a tiny, cold remote castle, where Blondel came to save King Richard! Jane has lived in Warrnambool with her partner Jack for the past five years distracted by travel to Africa, India, Tibet and Laos. No longer acting on stage (as she does in life) she utilises her skills by running 'special needs' play and music therapy programs at mPower, as well as a voice therapy consultancy as a speech pathologist.
